Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Luminography — the admin console, the display client software, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by RKBradford Corporation ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Luminography lets you register display devices (screens) and control what they show — photos, calendars, weather, and other themes — from a web-based admin console. Displays connect over the internet to receive your settings and content in real time.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the admin console. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Plans and Billing

The Service is offered on a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The Free plan is limited to 1 registered screen; Pro removes that limit and unlocks additional features (screen groups, scheduled theme changes, and others we may add over time).

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; your Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• We may change our pricing with notice; continued use after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, calendar data, and other content you provide ("Your Content"). By providing it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it solely as needed to operate the Service on your behalf — for example, showing your uploaded photos on a screen you've configured for a photo theme. We do not use Your Content for any other purpose, and do not sell it.

You're responsible for Your Content and for having the right to share it — including anything you enter for a Welcome Screen, such as Wi-Fi credentials or house information, which is shown openly on that physical screen.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to display unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, screen, or any part of the Service's infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its rate limits or normal operation
• Reverse-engineer the display client software beyond what's permitted by applicable law

6. Third-Party Services

Some themes connect to third-party services (Google, Spotify, Unsplash, weather and sports data providers, and others) to show live data. Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data.

7. Display Hardware and Network Reliability

Screens run in a web browser on hardware you provide (a smart TV, streaming device, tablet, Raspberry Pi, or similar) and depend on your local network and internet connection. We're not responsible for the performance, availability, or configuration of your hardware or network, or for content not updating because a device lost power, network connectivity, or was left asleep.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, themes, and design, is owned by RKBradford Corporation and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding except as needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data shown on a screen (weather, calendar events, sports scores, etc.) will always be accurate or up to date.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RKBradford Corporation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Manage Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practical.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
